Hey! My name is Abi Swartz, I played at Otero College and was verbally committed to the University of Texas to be a DH! I am now in my senior year of college. I am now studying Mortuary science and work as a family advisor in a funeral home! All through my childhood I played in many different sports and found my true love and passion with softball! I have played for almost 17 years of my life and would not trade it for the world! During my time as a player, I was a 3rd basemen, shortstop, first basemen, and catcher. I lettered all 4 years at Lakewood High-School and currently still have the Home-run record for Career and Season! I was also an all conference third basemen and catcher my junior and senior year. At Otero my second year I was the catcher of the year and my regions first team! I was also voted to be the schools MVP for softball! I was player of the week, and ranked 8th in the nation for batting average! I unfortunately had to stop playing competitively due to an injury, but now that I have healed and gotten back into what I love, I want to share that with others as well! I have been giving lessons for the past year and would love to continue my time teaching with evolve as I have also taken lessons and caught lessons here before!
My goal with lessons is to not only help those who want to get better, but also give them the enjoyment of the game mentally! I have had my fair share of times when the game got difficult and remembering why I played the game made it so much easier! I would love to help these girls be better technique wise and mentality wise! These young woman are the main priority and I am here to be their backbone to remind them that they have so much to give with this sport!
